ABOUT US

Peace, Love & Yarn has been hand-dyeing yarns since 2002.

Wool is our favorite fiber (we love sheep!) and our yarns are either wool or wool blends.  

We use commercial grade dyes to individually handpaint each skein, making each one a work of art for you to take to the next level.  Please take into account when purchasing that variations will occur from dyelot to dyelot.

We are very excited to announce a new yarn line due out in early 2012.  Battenkill Fiber Mill of Greenwich, NY will be custom spinning a wool and alpaca blend yarn for us in a DK weight, using fibers from local sheep and alpaca farms.  It’s important to us to keep small farms and businesses in our communities.  Our plan is to sustain the economy, one skein at a time.  We hope you’ll help us!
